WebGo into your KSP install folder under steam. Then go to Gamedata —> KS3P —> and open the config file (.cfg) with notepad. All the settings are listed for EVA, in flight, IVA, KSC, and editor. I dont know how to adjust the brightness per say but maybe fiddle around with some of the numbers to see what results you get.
