Symptoms of toxicity include: coarse tremor, muscle twitching or weakness, unsteady gait, GI upset, blurred vision, slurred speech. Webat all patients with lithium on their repeat prescription with and without issues in the last 3 months (to identify early any underuse which could suggest low compliance with treatment leading to clinical deterioration).
